Ruined my wedding day!! Not a good wedding location!!First off, I would like to say that I would not recommend this location for a wedding. Trying to work with them was a joke. When we would tell them our wishes or changes in times, she never wrote it down. This in turn made issues on the actual day. The food was out nearly an hour earlier than we even arrived because she never changed her contract only my copy. This information was then released to guests at my wedding by the chef saying that the food wouldn't be as good as it should have been. Then on my wedding day I was cornered by the owner telling me to make my guests to stop using the large plates because they were eating the food we ordered and paid for, too quickly. It seems to me if you don't want people to use large plates maybe you shouldn't put them out. Then we come to the cake...Terrible! I can't believe she charged me $185 to do my cake, It was tiny and dry, and the frosting was hard. It was like it had been made ahead of time and frozen. I could have gone to the grocery store across the street and received twice as much cake that would have actually been moist and fresh for less than that. I also had ordered a personalized military cake topper to look like my husband and I and she knocked it on the floor and broke it. She tried to cover up her mistake with frosting but once I saw it I was devastated. She never offerred to replace it or anything. They are difficult to get ahold of, they do not put you first priority. When I went in to pay they left me standing there while thay did other things. I never felt like my business was important to them. They are a bar!! Nothing more. That is all they should be. The location is decent but small and it smells like a bar. Keep looking. This is my wedding memory to have to live with, please don't make it yours. On another note, I tried to use them for another event, not by my own choosing...nothing like a wedding (just a group of friends meeting for a surprise party) and getting a response was very difficult again. After we had arrived no one that was working even knew we were coming in. This just shows the lack of importance this business shows toward customers. The Waters Edge will not be a place I ever choose to go into again on my own.

We were running a bit late to our dinner, but the Waterfront was understanding. The food was excellent. Our family still hasn't stopped talking about it. The chef worked with me to custom create our dinner menu for the evening.
