What an experience. I shopped for months for the perfect dress, travelled from Ottawa to Montreal and searched all of the Ottawa Valley...couldn�t find one in Silk that I loved that didn�t cost $10K. A fellow bride recommended SB Soiree to me after buying her own dress there, so I checked it out. I couldn�t find 1 perfect dress, but I found 3 that I liked. The owner told me that he could combine them to make my dream dress. I was thrilled. I ordered it 12 months before the big day...and naturally I didn�t get the call that it was in until 2 months before the wedding (I pestered and pestered though...especially after hearing rumours that they were going bankrupt!). Imagine my surprise when I show up at the boutique to find out that they had ordered the wrong dress...it was chiffon, I paid big bucks for silk, it was 5" too short and way too small....no I didn�t gain wait. So much so that I started shopping for a new dress the week my invitations went out. No I�m not kidding. In the end, after 5 more trips to MTL the dress was near perfect. Assunta the seamstress at SB made the skirt from scratch, hand embroidered most of the bodice and gave me 5 fittings to make it perfect.

I absolutely love my dress. It's very detailed and eye-catching. I had no problem with customer service and the dress was finished before the given time!

I canÂ’t complain too much about my dress. I tried it on, got alterations and that was pretty much it. I loved my dress and loved the bustle that DavidÂ’s provided. Even though I heard horror stories about DB, thankfully I didnÂ’t experience any of it.
