The Hamptons

The Hamptons were terrific! They kept our friends and family dancing all night. They were a lot of fun and accommodated all requests. They are all talented musicians and easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

Two words summarize the Hamptons Band "ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIC!"Young and old thoroughly enjoyed the music and danced all night! Their song list appeals to all age groups and their performance is high energy that guests love and will remember always! They were very accommodating with our special requests, they were fun, made our wedding and reception memorable!There is a definite reason they have been voted the best wedding band in Phoenix, They Deserve it! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!!

I will start by saying The Hamptons Band blew me away. When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew it was important to us to have a band versus a DJ because of how important music is to us, not to mention, live music. When I first emailed The Hamptons and began an email conversation with Dan, he told me they were, unfortunately, already booked for my date but that he would be willing to split the band in half for our event at a discounted price. It was so great that they were so willing to work with us especially considering they had to drive all the way up to Flagstaff to play for us. In the end, the wedding they were previously booked for was cancelled and we ended up having the whole band play for us which was such a treat. I feel lucky and privileged to have had The Hamptons play at our small reception. Our guests were raving about the band the whole time and everyone was as blown away as we were. They were funny, engaging and all the while, professional. Finally, I knew I wanted to sing a song for my husband at the reception. The Hamptons luckily already knew the song I wanted to sing and were willing to incorporate me with the keyboardist, Steve, who played while I sang. Dan also gave me the opportunity to go through it one time through before the wedding for practice a few weeks prior. When I was feeling insecure and nervous about singing it, the entire band was supportive and encouraging. The Hamptons made our reception for us, seriously. We were blessed to have them there.

If you are considering hiring the Hamptons for your wedding, do not think twice! They kept our guests on their feet all night long! During the planning process, Dan was extremely flexible and accommodating, updating the schedule as need be and having the band learn our first dance song. They play an amazingly wide variety of genres/generations of music, ensuring that all guests can relate. When one guest requested a somewhat obscure salsa song at the end of the night, the band listened to it during their break and played an impeccable version of it. The Hamptons have impressive sound, are great MC's, and made our reception an unforgettable party. Our guests have not stopped raving about them.

The Hamptons made our wedding AMAZING! Everyone keeps saying how they were the best wedding band they have ever heard. The greatest part is that they learned our song as well as our parents song with no hesitation. I was a little nervous but they nailed it- even better than the original. They were flexible and fun- what else could you ask for!

The Hamptons Band was great. They had no problem learning our wedding song and did a great job singing it. We had so many compliments throughout the night. I would highly recommend them!

The Hamptons band did an excellent job at our charity gala. They had everyone out on the dance floor until the last song and played a wide variety of music engaging all age groups.

What a phenomenal band! We used the band for our wedding and they made the party. If you have guests who love to dance, this is your band. They learned songs for us and did our favorites. The band was even gracious enough to let one of our guests sing a song at our request. Everyone was professional, accommodating and friendly. Our guests had a great time dancing. If you want a band (so much better than a DJ), look no further.

The Hamptons band recently did our wedding in October of 2010, and were awesome. They were very easy to work with and were responsive to our requests. They had no problem learning a few particular songs for us for our personal dances, and most importantly, did a great job keeping the party at the reception rolling. The dance floor was filled throughout the night with both young and old. They are flexible with they're playlist and very professional. AMAZING! There is no better band for a wedding/event. Our guests are still talking about them!

The Hamptons are fabulous. We went to hear them almost a year before the wedding. Dan came over during a break and we knew after listening to this awesome band and speaking with Dan that our daughter's wedding would be perfect. In fact every guest that could dance did and did so unless they were seated for toasts or watching the cake cutting!! Thank you Hamptons- you are hired for daughter #2!!!

The Hampton's ROCKED, and I mean ROCKED, our wedding in Malibu this summer. EVERY single guest said something to me about the band and what an amazing job they did. There were people on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. I am not exaggerating.They even made it easy on me by letting me give them a list of the songs we wanted to be played on their break -- they downloaded the songs for us and had them all cued up and ready to go.I can't recommend them enough and am so happy they were able to make the trip out to California to play at our wedding. I wish all our other vendors were as professional, prepared and accommodating as they were. They truly exceeded our expectations and made our event one of the most memorable for everyone in attendance. ~Desiree (Riek) Marz

Everyone danced and loved the band. They learned our wedding song perfectly and our dance turned out perfect! However, our contract read that the band would take one break and they took three, one being at 11:30p.m. But other than that, no complaints! They were wonderful!

This band is AMAZING!!!! All of my guests were absolutely blown away by how talented they are. They certainly made it a party! I loved how they interacted with the guests, but not to the point where it was distracting. They are unbelievably versatile and so much fun to dance to!

The Hampton's are wonderful!! When other Bride's ask me now what the one decision was that made my reception perfect, my answer is always the band. I had been to so many weddings with DJs, where people really only danced to the traditional 'first dance' songs and a few slow numbers, and I knew I didn't want my wedding to be like that, and with a small wedding of only 45 it was a high concern.The Hampton's were the perfect choice. From the first song of the night, until the very end, everyone was out on the dance floor. Everyone came up to me for weeks after and said they had never had so much fun at a wedding before, and I attribute most of this to the energy and talent of the Hampton's. Their set list has all great songs to dance to and have fun with, and during breaks they let me choose my favorite songs/artists to play on their i-pod, which was great for those few 'must play' top current hits that you might want. They were one of our biggest expenses, but if you want to have the time of your life at your wedding, they are worth it.

They are awesome!!! We had them play for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner and dancing. A one stop shop! Everyone at they wedding said they made the wedding come alive. We had people on our dance floor the whole night. You can't go wrong with chosing them for your special day.

These guys are so entertaining. Our reception started late, as it rained during our ceremony. But, they were patient and were a lot of fun when they got up there. Our guests had a blast, they played the perfect combo of fast vs slow, old vs new music! We talked them into playing a couple more songs, and my groom even got up and sang with them. We splurged on th 9 piece w/ the female vocalist. SOOOO worth it. Thanks guys!!!

I couldn't be more excited about or pleased with this band. They are AMAZING. They are so much fun, and were by far the best band I've ever heard at a wedding. My guests were dancing from the start of the reception to the end, and were actually upset when the band said it was the final song at 11:30. Booking them was the smartest decision I made for my wedding day.

The Hamptons came very highly recommended and they did not dissapoint! They did a perfect rendition of our wedding song, "Everything" by Michael Buble' (which they learned specifically for our wedding). They got everyone up on the dance floor and kept them going all night long! They sang all of our music suggestions and allowed us to hook up our ipod for the dance music to continue during their breaks. It was a great time!

We cannot say enough about how fantastic The Hamptons Band was for our wedding. As with most weddings, we had young, old and everything in between in attendance and they read the crowd well managing to get everyone on the dance floor. Not only were they incredibly professional, but also a lot of fun. They helped the night run smoothy and were also flexible with their time by staying longer to keep the dance party going! All of our friends have mentioned what a great band they were and we couldn't agree more. We'd hire them again in a heartbeat and are currently trying to justify throwing a party so we can have them back again! - Mike and Liz
