Shanandoah was fantastic! She met with us on multiple occasions and gave us valuable feedback. We did not have a wedding planner (intentionally) and Shanandoah filled the gaps of time management, what if scenarios , and just last minute organization. She is very calming and kind. Shanandoah was amazing! She worked with us long distance prior to the wedding to get to know us in order to create "our story", which was perfect and beautiful. She is very warm and friendly with a calming presence. I could not have asked for a more perfect person to officiate at my wedding. Rev. Shanandoah is a lovely person whom my wife and I were able to connect with easily. She took great care to make sure every detail of our ceremony was planned and thought through. She also made sure that our ceremony was unique for us and did not question or bat an eye when my wife and I shared that we wanted to incorporate masks into our ceremony! My wife and I were also fortunate enough to have Rev. Shanandoah bless us the evening before our big day in a private ceremony. Having that time alone with my partner to let go of single life and move toward married life was a gift that really took all the pressure off for the big ceremony the next day in front of our friends and family.

Had our 1 year anniversary vow renewal. We had a handfasting at Red Rock crossing. She was very helpful with finding the perfect location and for providing what supplies that we needed for the ceremony. Very friendly and was quick to respond to emails. Was willing to meet with us when we came up to Sedona before the actual event. All in all was an awesome experience.

If we could give Reverend Shanandoah a 10 on here we would! She was absolutely amazing! I knew from the moment I spoke with her on the phone that she would be perfect to officiate for my husband and I for our intimate wedding day. We eloped with no wedding planner and she really helped to keep us organized and calm. We had a couple of meetings on the phone prior to our arrival in Sedona. When we met I realized we didn't have our marriage license. Eek! (of which she had reminded me on the phone and gave me exact instructions). Since we realized that we didn't have it she simply and calmly changed plans for us for the day to make that happen. Our ceremony was perfect and she made it so special with really connecting with both of us by getting to know us before hand. I will never forget our special moment and am so grateful that she has chosen her path which brought such beauty to our important day!

My husband and I are so grateful that we found Shanandoah. She was an integral part of both our ceremony and the preparation for the ceremony. We chose the Native American wedding ceremony and it was incredible. Shanandoah took a great deal of time in the months leading up to the wedding to meet with us and help us both plan the details of the ceremony as well as help us prepare mentally and emotionally for our big day. She always so subtly reminded us of what was truly important - it can be so easy to allow the stress of planning a wedding to overshadow the joy of it. Shanandoah always brought us full circle with her gentle wisdom. Our wedding would not have been the same without her - I even had many guests approach me at the reception to tell me how amazing she is (not that I was surprised!). She encouraged us to make our ceremony very personal and had wonderful ideas on how we could do that. We always wanted the ceremony to mean something very deeply personal - to really be the focal point of the wedding day - and Shanandoah played an important part in bringing that dream to fruition.I know I'm not alone in saying this because I've heard the same thing from my guests and from others in the wedding industry - if you're really lucky in life, you'll meet someone just once who brings as much peace and joy to everyone around her as Shanandoah does.

Shanandoah was amazing!! I had traveled to Sedona to look at places, and get going on the planning, I had an appointment with Shanandoah, and I came out that appointment knowing she was the one who would make our wedding come together so beautifully! She spend an hour with us on that first meeting, I never felt pressured to go with her, it all felt natural. She spent a few phone calls getting to know my now husband and I, and sent me rough drafts, and was open to changes, and even went thru a walk thru of the site, and a rehearsal the night before. She was so warm and friendly, and EVERYONE commented on her! We went with the rose ceremony which was so different, and meaningful because my husband loves gardening, and has a rose garden even. We even included our dog Harry in the ceremony! I have actually already recommended her to someone whose getting married in Sedona next year. We have read our ceremony book a couple times, and its such a nice keepsake!We could not be happier with Shanandoah and Sterling Weddings of Sedona!

Shanandoah was a joy to work with! We had an issue with our original officiant and we were able to book Shanandoah on very short notice. She was able to "meet" with us over the phone - taking hours talking to us about our relationship and ceremony options. She was amazing with pulling everything together so quickly and was extremely professional through the process.

It was absolutely a delight to work with Rev. Shanandoah for our 25th wedding anniversary vow renewals. Rev. Shanandoah has an aura of calm and peacefulness that quiets all your nervousness and makes it a true pleasure to work with her. The ceremony was exactly as we had hoped for. Planning our wedding from across the country was a challenge, but we had Shanandoah keeping us calm throughout the eleven month planning process. As soon as I first called her, she became our coach, counsellor and a regular reminder of what our wedding was supposed to be all about. Especially during the final weeks and days, Shanandoah called and emailed to check in and make sure we were taking the time to appreciate and absorb everything and to focus on each other. She was one of a list of officiants I was handed and I called through everyone above her name. After our first conversation and having her talk to my shy fiancé, we were both sure no more interview calls were needed. Our ceremony could not have been more perfect, and our friends and families are still talking about how fantastic Shanandoah was. We miss her now that we are married!

We had a great experience with Shanandoah! She was personable and professional, making the process seamless. We couldn't decide on the exact spot at Red Rock Crossing and she didn't mind the impromptu 10 min hike to scope out the second location, to ensure our day was exactly when exactly as we wanted! Being a destination wedding she was flexible and enabled us to do all our planing via phone & email. I would, with out a doubt, recommend her services to anyone!
