Matthew was great! He was easy to work with and made our wedding happen seamlessly. He kept everyone dancing throughout the night. Our guests told us how fun he was as he went around to tables to ask for requests. And he played all of the requests. He will be great entertainment for your wedding, too.

When I asked my guest their favorite part of the wedding several said the DJ. Starz is nothing but 5 star quality. They make things easy with an on-line planner but always are able to plan everything for you if you have no idea. Our DJ was extremely flexible with last minute changes and handle every situation with great professionalism. These guys make good weddings great! They are affordable and even offer discounts for teachers and military which I find awesome! It was great knowing I had a DJ that I could trust to make the event run smoothly! Made the wedding stress free and relaxing!

Our DJ was Matthew and he was incredible! He was very unobtrusive when providing ceremony music and did a great job switching gears and running the show for the reception. He played all of the songs that we requested and had a lot of helpful ideas for songs during special events when we needed help picking something. He also was very flexible and was willing to throw in a special event with only a few minutes notice. All of our guests said that they had a great time. Your music provider is definitely an area that you don't want to scrimp on...they run the whole reception! However, we did find their prices to be very reasonable and they were willing to give a discount for military service (my husband). You won't regret using these guys!

I could not of asked for a better DJ. Eric was amazing. He truly made my wedding an event to remember. His choice in music kept the crowd going. He was very involved in every last detail. I highly recommend Starz for any event.

Eric of Starz Entertainment was great to work with. He was professional and fun at our reception. He kept the crowd dancing and listened to our suggestions. They were in constant communication with us leading up to our reception. Our wedding was in Flagstaff and he was on time and set up in time for the reception. They really were a lot of fun to work with. Living in Phoenix and marrying in Flagstaff we worked with some vendors in Flagstaff and some in Phoenix. I got a lot of questions about if I was concerned that they would be late arriving into town for our events. I wasnt concerned in the slightest. They never gave me a reason to be. They are great!

Starz Entertainment was recommended by my niece after talking to numerous DJ's and being very dismayed at the lack of professionalism. They were by far the most professional company we dealt with, we originally talked to a young man named Matt.
He met with us and was extremely nice and helpful, but stated Eric would be better as all of our guests were over 60 and Eric had been doing weddings for 30 years. Eric was absolutely wonderful. He came and met us at a Starbucks close to our home and set us at ease immediately. This was not our first go round and Eric was very good with listening and not forcing us to do all the normal stuff.
He surprised us by getting some radio footage from a 1940's radio show that we mentioned. He was perfect for our wedding, and we are certain with the questions he asked and the way he listened he would deliver what anyone asked for.
From beginning to end and with everyone we dealt with Starz Entertainment was wonderful. It has now been 2 month and we are still having friends mention it was the most fun they had in years!

From the moment we met John Green we knew we were going to have an awesome experience with Starz. John was so much help and was willin to work with all our non traditional needs. He enjoyed our playlist we made and his enthusiasm made us confident we would have a great night. You must go with Starz if music is importat to you at all!

James from Starz Entertainment was our DJ and we LOVED HIM! Our first meeting with him felt like the perfect first date. He just "got" us. He really listened to us and understood what we wanted and what kind of music we would like to hear. Best, though, was that he grasped the sort of atmosphere we were shooting for with our reception.
Well, three weeks after my wedding, my feet are still tingling! We had a few special events planned for the reception, but we scrapped them all because as soon as dinner began and he started warming up our guests, people were skipping the salad so that they could get on to the dance floor, where they stayed all night. We literally danced the night away. If we could have, I'd have danced even longer. My guests have all expressed that they had more fun at our wedding than they had ever had at a wedding, thanks to the wonderful DJ. Our DJ was perfect in every way!

Just that having a MC like john is extremely important and he was truly amazing. I was really pleased with the way John was able to reorganize the event with each of the small mishaps that occurred, none of which were the DJ's fault and my guess never even noticed or knew something went wrong.

John was professional and on the ball at all times. He seemed to be having just as much fun as the guests were. He made our reception wonderful and exceeded our expectations. He even handled the MOB very well when she was displeased. He always made sure to do what was in the Bride and Groom's best interests and was not interesting in keeping anyone but us happy.
He was FANTASTIC, and we feel that even that is an understatement. I will be passing his name along to friends and family for sure.

When our minister (almost) didn't show, Eric arranged for a substitute at the last minute. He helped calm us when nerves were tight, and kept things fun. He was also flexible when my 2 year-old nephew had a melt-down and we re-arranged the teddy bear toss. He was awesome!
I keep telling everyone about your company, that you manage to keep things fun but still tasteful, and about your DJs willing to go above and beyond in "emergencies"

You NEED to book John Green. Period. John surpassed any expectations that we had for our wedding reception. Everyone had an amazing time and we even had him stay an extra hour later than planned because he was so great. The reception was amazing because of John: it is something that we will always remember.

We were pleased with how smoothly John ran our reception and timeline. We have received numerous comments from our guests about how much fun he made our reception. We particularly received many compliments on the anniversary dance and how neat it was. It was a great memory for everybody.
John was unbelievable. He gave great advice and was very easy to work with. He makes sure your reception is exactly how you want it. He does a great job taking moments during your reception and making them entertaining and special. You can tell he truly enjoys his job and interacting with people.

We were blown away with satisfaction - Our guests were very pleased and made positive comments as well.
The DJ John Green, listened to us and created an event schedule that matched our needs perfectly. I never had to worry about the evening and could truly relax as the DJ ran the show providing an amazing, fun, and energetic atmosphere. Family members that would never dream of dancing were getting down on the dance floor! It was a relaxed, fun, energetic, and comfortable environment that made everyone let loose and have fun! We were very impressed by the dj's attention to detail and how he was able to feel the mood and energy of the room and use this to play the perfect songs to match it!

We were pleased with the service on whole. The website was convenient and easy to use. It was nice to have everything all laid out. All of our meetings with John were productive and useful, and his work at the event was phenomenal.
John is an amazing DJ. Not only is he a super nice person, but he is pleasant and easy to work with. John took interest in us as clients and always listened to our requests, answered our questions, and assuaged our concerns. John did a phenomenal job at the wedding. He kept people on the dance floor the entire evening by gauging the crowd and anticipating what they would like to hear. The biggest fear with djs is that one song they play that makes you think, "Why are they playing that?!" With John, however, that moment never came. Everything flowed together seamlessly, was appropriate, and was well received by our guests. We are so lucky to have had him at our event.

I would highly recommend our dj, John Green from Starz Entertainment. Meeting with wedding vendors can be tedious, but this was never the case with John. From the beginning, we were very impressed with John's enthusiasm and attention to detail. He helped us make major music decisions, plot our timeline, and structure the feel for our event. We were looking for a low-key, yet fun dj who could keep the dance floor going and John was the man for the job. At the wedding, John kept the event flowing. John has an incredible ability to feel about the crowd and play the music he knows will get the best response. He was always able to anticipate what song would keep people dancing. As a company, Starz Entertainment was also great. The company provides its clients with an online system to help organize the event and select music. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price. We can't say enough good things about our experience with John and Starz!
