She is the best decision my husband and I made. My wedding day was flawless and the process of planning my wedding with Sandy was too easy. My husband wanted to ensure that I had fun preparing to get married and because of Sandy I did. I promise you will not regret your decision, when you choose Sandy Walker. She has great relationships with excellent vendors, who love working with her and go above and beyond for you to ensure they are providing the services Sandy promises to provide. I trusted Sandy, because I knew she cared and wanted to make my wedding day special. She did! I now consider Sandy a friend and I am so thankful I chose her to be a part of such an important day in my life. Thank you Sandy!

There really are no words to describe how amazing Sandy Walker is. We had a unique situation in which we had two weddings in two days, one Indian and one American and Sandy was able to make sure everything went perfectly. I am very particular and she uses the best vendors in town. She is very creative and has exquisite taste. For the entire 13 months we worked together it never took her longer than 15 minutes to answer an email, which is a miraculous feat considering I often emailed her several times a day. She is worth so much more than she charges and her daughter Kelsey is delightful as well.

We cannot say enough about Sandy! She took all the stress out of getting married and b/c of her we were able to actually relax and enjoy the day and the days leading up to the wedding. All of her recommendations were top notch and everyone was so amazing and willing to work with us. We truly grew close to Sandy and she became a friend to us during the whole process. We received endless amounts of compliments on what a fantastic wedding it was and how amazingly it "flowed". We absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone...5 stars all the way!

How many brides and mother-of-the brides can honestly say that the planning stages of their wedding were a pleasant and enjoyable experience? Ours was! Using the services of Sandy Walker from In Awe Weddings was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Special attention to every detail was expertly handled, the minor problems we encountered along the way were dealt with quickly and efficiently, the entire process was perfect from beginning to end. The week after our first daughter's wedding was over, we began planning our second daughter's wedding with In Awe Weddings as well!

I hired Sandy as a planner for what is considered a destination wedding -my husband and I live in Upstate New York and wanted to get married in my hometown of Phoenix. I could not have made a better decision. Initially I had concerns about how we would work long distance...would she forget about me? Would I be lower priority? Would it feel like MY wedding? Fortunately, she put all of my fears to rest from the very beginning. She is well organized, communicates well, executed my ideas perfectly, and was a dream to work with. I gave her a sense of what I wanted and she was able to help make my vision a reality. We got married on April 8, almost two months ago and people are STILL talking about it! Even my teenage neices and nephews had a blast and are still talking about it. Sandy had great recommendations for vendors, works so well with them all, and it really shows. Everyone is professional and courteous, and really want the couple to be happy. At times I have wondered how she does it all (and sometimes even why!?!). The night of my wedding, I knew. It's so that she can make nights like this happen, where the two families came together and really, truly enjoy themselves. I would have no hesitations at all at hiring Sandy all over again, it was really the best decision I could ever have made. If brides are ever worried about hiring a planner costing too much, having too much input, or being overly involved, then hire Sandy. That is not the case at all with her. I felt like it was my wedding the whole time, and because I was open to her ideas too, things came out so much better than I could have expected. My advice is to hire Sandy if you want a little help organizing, making more time for you to ENJOY it all, great ideas, and a great experience. Her fee is reasonable, and she was so flexible. I cannot say enough good things about Sandy. I truly feel that we will stay in touch in the time to come. She is a very special person, and great to work with!

I would 100% recommend Sandy to any future bride. None of my friends that had gotten married before me had used a wedding planner, so I wasn't sure what to expect, if it would be worth it or if I was just "taking the easy way out". But when we decided to have an out-of-state wedding in Arizona, we thought it best to hire someone local to help us out. Hiring Sandy was, by far, the best decision we made in our entire planning process (my husband agrees with this statement, too!). From reviewing complicated contracts with our venue all the way through decorating our room with rose petals the night of our wedding, Sandy was there for us. She even told me "don't worry, you're my first priority" when her first grandchild was born 3 days before my wedding! I probably emailed her ~50 times/week in the month before our wedding, and she responded (with understanding, and patience!) within minutes to hours of all of them. Every vendor she recommended was professional, reasonably-priced and did a great job. She really became a friend and I miss her now that it's all over! I could honestly say about a million more good things about Sandy!
And her daughter, Kelsey, did all of our paper products and did a beautiful job! I would highly recommend her as well.

In Awe Weddings should really be renamed Incredibly Awesome Wedding Coordinator and Planner!!! Had it not been for the thoughtfulness and guiding hands of Sandy Walker, I’m certain my daughter and now son-in-law’s destination wedding in Phoenix (from Minneapolis MN) would not have been so.
From day one, Sandy had the innate ability to take their thoughts and ideas and translate them into exactly what they wanted to make their day one that not only they would cherish and remember for a lifetime but for each and every guest as well. Every single vendor she recommended was “top of the class” in professionalism, creativity and talent and the results of each of their contributions was amazing. With the vast majority of managing and hammering out all of the details, planning and execution occurring from miles away, her ability to get things going, keep them going and then ending on a beautiful and positive note is a testament in and of itself to her abilities.
When Sandy and I were chatting as the event and evening was coming to a close, she mentioned to me that the true beauty of the wedding event actually rests with the couple, their family and friends. While true, I have to say, it was the genuineness of her character and her true care and concern that lead to wonderful memories that will last forever.

Hiring Sandy was the best decision I ever made. Sandy is sweet, patient, organized, resourceful, and creative. From start to finish, she provided excellent service. She was responsive to every communication and request and truly went above in beyond in so many ways. She is a complete professional, yet she is so warm and caring that she makes you feel like a friend. It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to Sandy. She made our wedding day perfect. Neither us or our families had to worry about a single thing from start to finish. She even did things like run out to get medicine for my little niece who had a fever, and found out what to do with my beloved dog that got sick from chocolate that morning. If you are questioning whether a planner is worth it, I can tell you with confidence that Sandy is worth every single penny. In fact she will SAVE you money. I started planning on my own - getting my own quotes, etc. But Sandy was able to find vendors who were better for less money. In the end, I saved tons and didn't have to worry about anything. Besides, Sandy's rates were very reasonable to begin with. Oh, and my wedding ended up being featured on blogs like StyleMePretty and Bride's Cafe, and I give all the credit to Sandy. She has great taste and made everything so beautiful and perfect. I promise you will not be disappointed if you choose Sandy. She totally exceeded every expectation I had and can't imagine what things would have been like without her.

As I pined away at our to-do list, I thought to myself, “There has to be a better way. Why isn’t this as fun and glamorous as it looks in the movies?!” In the beginning, there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that my mom and I could plan this wedding by ourselves. But we quickly realized the details were all too overwhelming and a year just wasn’t enough time to plan a wedding day down to the minute – especially with me living a state away and both of us working long hours during the week. I thought I could never afford a wedding coordinator to help us with all the things that had yet to be done, our budget was already busting at the seams…
And then, there was Sandy.
Planning a wedding is by far one of the most stressful, trying tasks a couple will choose to undertake, but deciding to work with a coordinator will ensure you and your relationship make it through unscathed – provided you choose the right one. Things to consider when hunting for the ideal coordinator: does he/she want to get to know you and your fiancé, does he/she actively listen to your vision and thoughts for your wedding, does he/she try to perfect your ideas? If you can honestly answer ‘yes’ to these questions, then you’ve found the perfect one – you’ve met Sandy!
Sure, deciding to work with a coordinator was an added expense; however, Sandy saved us a great deal of money and had us working with vendors whose value and quality were well beyond their modest price. The well established connections she has to put together a team that supports every couple’s tastes and budget is incredible – you will always feel like you’re more than a customer and you’ll know your getting more than your money’s worth. Not only that, but my husband and I were fortunate enough to have two coordinators on the day of our wedding – an added bonus for all of Sandy’s clients - to make sure everything ran smoothly. Sandy’s daughter Kelsey was a huge help when it came to staying on schedule and making sure everything was just right. In addition to helping Sandy direct weddings, Kelsey is the creative mind behind Flossy Stylish Design, crafting beautiful custom wedding stationary from place cards and menus, to invitations and ceremony programs. To work with this mother-daughter duo is one of the best, and easiest, decisions you could make.
It’s not to say that having a coordinator will completely rid the wedding planning process of all possible blunders, but working with a planner can relieve much of the stress and help you keep the most important things in perspective. A wedding day is about a lifelong commitment that two individuals make to one another; all that surrounds it simply enhances the moment. Well, my husband and I made our commitment, and all of our surroundings were quite impressive. Sandy Walker did a spectacular job coordinating our winter-themed wedding and I could not be more thankful. Our guests were “in awe” of every detail from our wedding day, and they continue to compliment Sandy on a job exceptionally well done!
From the bouquet to the table setting, it goes without saying that a bride will change her mind countless times. Working with a patient coordinator who gives you confidence in your decisions will allow you to rest easier as the days before your wedding begin to quickly pass by. I wish we could say that we knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding, that we knew where every decoration would be placed and every candle lit. But we didnÂ’t. It was more the feeling of having a hodge-podge of ideas, and Sandy was there to make sense of it all and put together an event that was uniquely ours. The flowers arrived at just the right time when they would open to their ideal blossom as I walked down the isle, the ceremony began moments before the sunset creating the most beautiful glow on my husband and me as we recited our vows, and the receptionÂ’s grand entrance of all those in the wedding party was perfectly planned to where each pair would enter with a song playing that reflected their personality. All of this could be seamlessly done by only someone who has outstanding organizational skills and enough experience to know what works - that is Sandy Walker.
You can always tell when someone is passionate about what they do, and itÂ’s amazing to watch them do what they love, making the process and end result look absolutely flawless. When it comes to planning a wedding Sandy Walker of In Awe Weddings & Events is surely one of the valleyÂ’s best talents; her skills and enthusiasm are arguably the greatest you could ever hope for and find in a coordinator.

Sandy and Kelsey at In Awe Weddings were fantastic. I had an amazing wedding and it was all because of Sandy. She had the most wonderful ideas and she gave me all of the best resources when it came to buying a dress, finding a photographer, DJ, reception sight etc. She was so organized and she was in contact with me constantly. I could call or email her anytime and we would talk about anything that still needed planning or even if I was just nervous about something. Sandy at In Awe Weddings is an amazing planner and I would reccomend her to anyone who is getting married. I could not even imagine planning a wedding without her!
