Heidi's Events and Catering

On May 15th, 2010 I celebrated my marriage in Arcadia at a beautiful private home. My husband and I were there to celebrate our love for one another and to show gratitude to the family and friends who've supported us so well over the years. The wedding was extremely important in celebrating those we love and Heidi Vail absolutely perfected the event and the fine details. Our initial meeting with Heidi set a precedent for the rest of the planning stage and for the wedding. She consistently inquired with both of us with regard to our likes and dislikes, our desires for our guests, and offered creative solutions to ideas we hadn't quite figured out how to implement. My husband and I also had some unique ideas for the menu and the execution was beyond anything I could have imagined.THE FOOD! The food was out of this world! People are still raving about it. Even the guests who are restaurateurs and an editor of a restaurant magazine in Chicago were complimenting our choice in a caterer. The day of the wedding Heidi's staff was on site putting final touches on the rentals and making certain the event space was in order. They were all so efficient and calm I was totally relaxed and was able to focus on the reason I was there instead of whether or not everything would come together. The entire estate was immaculately detailed and everything was in its place. Following the ceremony, the guests were immediately greeted with welcome drinks, fantastic passed hors d'oeuvres, and made completely comfortable. Our event coordinator from Heidi’s was extremely impressive and ensured the wedding party and all guests were satisfied. The staff was professional and unobtrusive. I still have guests telling me it was the most amazing wedding event they have ever attended. Heidi’s helped us with the two most important elements, celebrating our marriage and celebrating the people we love. I am ecstatic!

Heidi's Events and Catering did a superb job providing not only the food and drinks for my reception, but also tables, linens and chairs. I attended one tasting in the spring, and I'm glad I did, because it gave me some great ideas for my reception menu. The menu is practically endless, but Heidi and her highly trained staff worked to understand exactly what I wanted, and helped me to narrow down my choices. The food tasted amazing, and was set up beautifully. My guests and I were more than pleased. On top of all that, the tables and chairs were gorgeous, and the serving staff was upbeat and professional. Choosing a great caterer is one of the most important decisions you can make in order for your big day to go smoothly and flawlessly, and I HIGHLY recommend Heidi's for their delicious food, courteous staff and their knowledge of the wedding industry. Everything was a success working with Heidi’s. We basically had them provide all services, including chairs, linens, tables, and food, since the venue we were married at required everything be brought in through a vendor. We chose one main dish and the pasta station and found that it worked really well. The food was delicious. The presentation was great and the chefs were courteous. The tables were spectacular and they went the extra mile by tying ribbons that we wanted around the napkins in order to bring all the colors of the wedding together. The banquet captain was very attentive to us through the evening to see that we received whatever we needed. We are impressed that they pulled off an outdoor venue event flawlessly…at least to our knowledge. If you are unsure of what you want or are trying to decide among various caterers, be sure to take advantage of one of the speical evening events that Heidi's offers for prospective customers to enjoy a mock reception.

I got married in April and was very satisfied with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We had such a great coordinator and everything turned out lovely- above and beyond then I even expected. Such a great job! And teh food was so delicious and the waitstaff was AWESOME! Thank you!

I worked with Heidi's Events and Catering at a venue for 6 months on a weekend basis and I fell IN LOVE with their company! I saw them at the venue nearly every weekend and each time they refreshed my mind with their creative and different set up styles, their tasty food, and their outstanding five star service. They truly stand by their word that they provide exceptional service for every guest. I worked with other caters over the course of the 6 months as well, but would always refer Heidi's first to anyone. I worked with their whole team including their banquet captians, serving staff, and Heidi and Drew on multiple occasions. They were extremely helpful and I was always confident that when they were at the venue I would never have to worry about a thing! I will ALWAYS reccommend them to anyone and have full confidence that they will continously do a marvelous job.

Heidi's was easy to work with and gave us great suggestions. The food was delicious, and our guests enjoyed it very much. The staff at the wedding was professional and attentive.

Noone ever wants to feel like just another number. I felt like I was the only and most important person in Heidis life thoughout the whole process. I appreciated that she wanted to meet me befor sendingme a proposal. She expressed how important it was to her to make sure we were a good fit for each other. She asked me alot of questions about my desires and style and then planned the perfect events for me. I hired Heidi to catwer my rehersal, my wedding and the brinch after. Her level of experince and passion for what she does was refreshing. The food was great and so was the staff but what I appreciate most was how flexible and accomadating Heidi herself was to my needs, my budget and occassions. Thank you for a series of events I will never forget.

I worked with Drew for my event and he was a pleasure to work with. He helped me decide everything I needed for my wedding. The day of, everyone I met was courteous and helpful. At my reception, I had a few unmanned stations and lots of hand-passed food. The presentation of the stations was beautiful and the servers always made a point to search out me and the groom so that we were able to eat too. The on-site coordinator was also incredibly helpful. In short, I loved my experience with Heidi's and would definitely use them again for any events. When compared to other quality caterers, I received more from Heidi's for a third of the price I was quoted elsewhere.

We were on a strict budget and Heidi was able to work with us to make our catering request affordable for us. The staff was very professional and helpful and went above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend them to anyone!

We LOVE Heidi's Events and Catering!!!! Heidi and Drew are two of the most exceptional people we worked with! The staff at Heidi's was great at our wedding, very prompt and professional! The fare was amazing and DELICIOUS!!! We had pictures taken after the ceremony at several different houses around our venue and had a personal server catering to us the whole time (thanks Chantel). She was great! We HIGHLY recommend working with Heidi's for your next event! Drew was an amazing wedding planner! WE LOVE YOU!!! And a MILLION thanks to you and Heidi! Heidi's events and catering was great throughout my entire planning process. Heidi answered every question I could possibly have and her staff was incredibly helpful, professional and friendly throughout my cocktail hour and reception.

I cannot say enough good things about Heidi's Events and Catering and ESPECIALLY Drew Coleman! Drew was very friendly and professional from the first time that we met with him and continued to communicate openly with us right up to the day of our wedding. He personally came to our venue to see if there was anything else we needed (and our venue was not at all close to the Heidi's office!). Every single request that we made was met and our expectations were far exceeded. The food was delicious (we went with roasted chicken, beef brisket, veggies, and mashed potatoes) and so were the hors d'oeuvres. We heard nothing but good things about the food and our families definitely enjoyed the leftovers. Our staff treated us like good friends. You can tell that they love what they do and genuinely want to make people happy. Heidi's will most definitely be number one on my list of recommendations and my first choice for all future catered events.

Heidi's Catering did a fabulous job. Her staff was professional and went far above my expectations of their duties. They were attentive from beginning to end and gave valuable time and money saving suggestions to help with our planning. Heidi is great and the food is delicious!

Heidi's was another wonderful vendor that we worked with. We had Drew Coleman, and he did every detail down to what both my husband and I wanted. My husband would not eat on the menu, so they did a special order for him to have 4 tacos. He was so satisfied that they had done that for us. Everyone LOVED the food - it really was some of the best food I had ever tasted. We did the Mexican style dinner. We also had an open bar through them and provided such a great bartender. I got comments that he was funny and knew what he was doing. Heidi's also did my cake for me, and I could not have asked for anything more freshly made, gorgeous looking, and TASTY! I ordered a marble cake, and it tasted so good. Drew was checking up with me weekly, and even was able to take off 4 guests to help us lower the price at the very last minute. Drew was all about making it my day, and he sure did contribute a lot to it because of how wonderful he really was!

Drew was absolutley wonderful to deal with.. They let us try several different foods and when we picked what we liked they made some menu changes for us to accomodate some special guests needs. They were extremely easy to work with and the food was outstanding.

Heidi's did our food for our wedding as well as setup the entire event space except for tables. We felt that the staff did an amazing job with my crazy ribbon design being laid out on the tables. The staff was also very respectful with all of my guests as well as my husband and I. They worked very quickly serving food as we had a plated dinner. They were also so helpful with the clean up process that they wouldn't let any of the bridal party ladies carry any boxes up the stairs. The overall flexibility of Heidi's was awesome...we had a major table debacle 4 days before the wedding and had to completely change our entire arrangement, and they didn't have any problems with meeting with us and making those changes, it was exceptional. In value for cost I would say that it matched what we ate, considering we never actually tried that specific dish before the night of our wedding.

Heidi"s Catering provided excellent service from beginning to end. My husband and I first met with Drew, who was fabulous, and later at the wedding was provided with great food and friendly staff. Easy to work with. Would highly recommend.
