Mark, our DJ was fantastic! We had a backyard wedding and reception and although we had planned not to do some of the traditional activities, we ended up doing them and Mark was extremely flexible and accomodating to help make it happen. He made sure to always find one of us (bride/groom) to make sure we were aware of things that were planned or in some cases, that were requested. The entire event went flawlessly. We never had to worry about the music or mood at all. A++ Jerry! Thank you so much for everything you guys did for us!

JJ of Desert Music Entertainment was recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I could not have been happier! He did a wonderful job. He was extremely helpful in offering suggestions for the ceremony and the reception. We did not want a lot of cheesey games during our wedding, and he completely respected our wishes! He played great music and everyone had an amazing time. He is very flexible and was a pleasure to work with. I did not stress about the music or the DJ one bit, and it was such a relief! I was confident he would do a good job, and he did not let us down!

DJ JJ was so helpful in helping me select all the music from ceremony to reception. Everyone had a fantastic time and he kept the schedule of events on track with ease and a fun, relaxed personality. Everyone was talking about the great music he played. I personally danced the ENTIRE evening...I don't think I left the dance floor once the party got started! Thanks JJ...You guys are awesome!

JJ was great to work with! All of my guests had an amazing time. Everything seemed to run very smoothly throughout the night. Of course with any wedding there are things we talked to JJ about wanting to incorporate in our wedding that wasn't able to happen but we still had an great time! JJ worked with us to fit our personalities into our ceremony music and provided great suggestions for music options. At the end of the night JJ had no problem staying at extra hour to keep the music/party rolling! Thank you JJ!

I have to thank JJ for his amazing work as our DJ yesterday at our wedding. He made sure everyone was dancing, catered to song requests by the guest and kept the wedding going in a timely manner without constantly talking or interrupting the flow of the event. Very pleased of his work and incredibly happy with how professional and courteous he was as things changed throughout the wedding planning.

JJ did a great job. He had all the right music and it flowed perfectly for our evening. He was energetic and kept our guest involved and not bored. We loved having him there.

JJ was amazing...knew the mood of the room enough to know when to slow down the music and when to pick up the tempo. He went out of his way to find a very particular song I wanted. Was always quick with a response to any calls/emails. Very accommodating, great at communicating with us throughout the night to let us know of upcoming events (toasts, dances, etc)...highly recommend.

JJ was an amazing asset to our wedding reception! I was very impressed with how organized he was, from helping us go through our music selection to organizing a timeline for us. JJ went above and beyond in finding specialty music that we wanted that made our day that much more special and personal. All of our friends commented afterwards that they loved having dinner tables dismissed by trivia and that they had fun on the dance floor. I would highly recommend JJ and Desert Music Entertainment to any couple!

JJ was truly wonderful to work with. Planning a wedding in Phoenix while living in Canada was not easy. JJ took time out of his day to come and meet with us in advance of the wedding and got a sense of what sort of music we were in to and what we wanted to have played at the wedding. All of our special requests (including a special piano Pearl Jam album) were met! He was very professional throughout our special day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I became familiar with desert music entertainment and the music of JJ was a little over a year ago at my now mother -in-law and father-in-law renewing of their vows.the music selection that was played ,i knew would be good for my reception.I spoke with JJ and he made sure he had what I wanted played and also gave suggestions to what I was not sure of .my reception was in tampa,fl and he made the reception a dream come true.

If I could rate higher then a 5 for JJ I certainly would!! He was amazing at our wedding on 11/12/11. He did a great job interacting with our guests and keeping the flow of the night moving smoothly! We would have been at a loss without him! He played all the right songs and guests requests to ensure everyone had fun! His price was UNBEATABLE and my husband and I felt we got so much extra service for the price we paid. I think there is one way to explain how much I enjoyed my DJ. I do NOT dance. Ever. And yet I only sat down to eat. They really were able to get the crowd and myself up and moving. There is no higher form of compliment in my opinion.

I am not one to casually write reviews or do surveys. I must, however, thank JJ from Desert Music Entertainment for his part in making my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception truly memorable. He was extremely helpful to us, wanting my daughter's day to be perfect for her. The information packet we received was extremely organized and inclusive. We felt we could call him at any time to answer our questions and get his experienced, professional input. The outdoor ceremony was flawless--the music perfectly timed and so beautiful. The reception was amazing. Everyone had a good time and we are pleased with JJ's performance and expertise at the reception. There wasn't a dull moment for anyone. We are still getting wonderful, positive comments from those that attended. We highly recommend Desert Music Entertainment to anyone for any occasion. Thank you, JJ.

JJ did a fantastic job as our DJ. He kept everybody entertained and we had a blast! He was very professional from the beginning and he was always quick to repond to emails and phone calls. We also asked him to stay an extra hour at the last minute and he was flexible. We enjoyed having him as our DJ on our big day!!

To make everything easier planning the music and knowing the activities that will be going on throughout the wedding, D.M.E. give's you a website to work off of- which is sooo cool and really does make planning a wedding much more STRESS FREE! Also, it is a website where JJ is able to check up on one's progress and give suggestions if needed. The music was amazing, thought out, and personal. All the dedication songs, First dance, daddy dance, mama dance EVERY SPECIAL moment song was exactly as we chose. DJ Peter was extremely attentive and made sure everyone had a great time. You could tell he really paid attention to what kind of music we were looking for. EVERYONE had the time of there live's. I never expected my wedding to go as flawlessly as it did. (or at least in my eye's nothing went wrong- and the bride's opinion is all that matters, right!) I didn't have to worry about a thing all night. DJ Peter let me know what was needed to be done next (as I am so glad he did) and made sure it was done smoothly. Thank you over and over times a million, it was a great time all because of the music and entertainment, bringing everyone together!!

It was a pleasure to work with Desert Music Entertainment. Right from the beginning I was impressed with their comprehensive wedding program paperwork where I was able to provide comments on every aspect of what I wanted from the DJ service. The owner of the company contacted me to ask additional questions to make sure he had everything I wanted. He was willing to work with me on a particular father/daughter dance compilation I wanted to use and it turned out beautifully. At the reception, he was very effective at playing music that got people up a dancing, being the Master of Ceremony, and facilitating tables getting up to get food. I would highly recommend Desert Music Entertainment and would gladly hire them again for another event.

Before the wedding JJ was very helpful with anything I had questions about. My DJ was Peter, He was great! He played the music we wanted. Very professional, also was very flexible with what we wanted at the wedding. He played music that got the guests to get up and dance. I would recommend them to any bride!!!

I just had to write a review to say how pleased I was with Desert Music Entertainment and JJ Michaels. We picked a very popular date (9/10/11) and struggled with finding vendors that weren't already booked. When I called and spoke with JJ, I figured he would be booked as well. But to my suprise, he was available and we booked him immediately! He performed our ceremony and reception music. We met him a few weeks before the wedding to discuss all the details in full and he was so professional and paid such great attention to every little detail, I was pleased and he set my mind at ease. On our special day, he showed up early to set up, played every song we requested and made our event one of the best I have ever witnessed. JJ is a very professional, reasonably priced DJ who provided a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for my daughter's wedding reception. He kept things running smoothly and on schedule. In between the traditional reception activities, he offered some clever interactions involving the guests, as well as the bride and groom, which was very entertaining. His music library accommodated a wide variety of musical tastes, thus creating an enjoyable evening. I would happily recommend JJ for any wedding reception.

I had JJ for my June 25 wedding and let me say He was awesome. From the time I met him till the end of our night was a great experience. I would highly recommend him. His prices were very reasonable as well too!
