Chris Birkett is the best DJ EVER!!! We got married on 02/28/2009 at Ashley Manor and people are still talking about how amazing our DJ was! I have 2 friends getting married in the next few years and I am pushing for them to use Chris. He kept the all the guests happy and entertained. He also throws in a few surprises and really listens to what you like. He knew we loved Disney and couldn't afford the Disney wedding so he surprised us with the last song of the night being the theme from Fantasmic!! It really blew us away! If you have any DJ needs Chris is your man!!! :)

Chris Birkett was the DJ for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing. He brought so much fun and life to our reception and everyone commented on how great the DJ was. He completely got our personalities, read the crowd well and played a great mix of music. One of my fears was that no one would dance at our wedding, and it was just the opposite! I've never seen so many people dance and have fun at a reception.

Ok, let me start of with saying that I am only slightly biased towards Birkett. Chris (owner) has been a friend of my sister for YEARS. Now that that's out of the way, here we go.I booked my wedding with Kyle. He met us at a Starbucks on my side of town for our initial meeting and seemed to really understand we were music nerds so we had some specific requests. When we met for our final meeting he was without a doubt awesome because we hadn't made some decisions. He never pressured us into picking something just because it was common or expected. He understood that we aren't a traditional couple and a lot of normal things wouldn't do. Kyle did us a great favor by suggesting "the Shoe Game" which is a Newlyweds style trivia game. It was a great break in the dancing and provided tons of laughs. Kyle was amazing. He kept the energy up on the dance floor. Not to mention he kept the whole reception running smoothly as our MC for the evening. I was blown away at how attentive he was and how smoothly and close to our timeline he kept everything despite me being off in la-la-land half the time he talked to me.Just as a heads up for other brides - make sure you have the right date when you book (you know, like most sane brides probably do anyway, unlike myself =/). Your deposit is non-refundable.ANYWAY - bottom line - Kyle from Birkett was terrific and I couldn't have been happier with the results!

Chris Birkett was by far the best DJ we've ever seen! He really made the wedding a blast and went above and beyond. I'll definitely recommend him and will hopefully get to hire him again!

We used Chris Birkett of Birkett Entertainment for our wedding DJ, we couldn't be happier with our choice! He was so awesome to work with; nice & professional, yet so hilarious and sweet. He is definitely out to make your day go exactly how you dreamed and more. We couldn't have asked for more! My family & friends at the wedding were loving Chris and kept commenting on how funny & great our DJ was! Chris also goes above & beyond to help orchestrate your day by communicating constantly w/ the other vendors to make sure things were going smooth & on time. He even helped fix some decorations in the ballroom that were messed up before the guests arrived; wow what service! We would recommend Chris Birkett & his company Birkett Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ. Your missing out if your not using him at your event! :)

We had our wedding and reception at Regency Garden in Mesa and Birkett Entertainment was the preferred vendor. So glad we went with them!! Within a week or two of booking the venue, Jon called and introduced himself and told me exactly when to contact him to go over details and left me his info in case of questions or concerns. We set up our final meeting a few weeks before the wedding to go over the music and it was quick and to the point. He has great suggestions for everything, went over the timeline and even was able to add in some family traditions last minute for us. I had to leave town for a family emergency the day before the appointment with him so he was able to put me on speaker phone so I could be a part of it all which was great.During the reception, Jon kept the party going. He played a great mix of music which is what I asked. My grandma even told me how much she enjoyed his DJing! He got everyone dancing, had some fun surprises and kept it going up until the end. Couldn't have asked for anything more!!!

Chris was FANTASTIC!!! All my guests raved about how fun he was and entertaining! I could not recommend a better DJ, Chris is THE BEST!!! My guests are raving on and on about him and want him to fly to their daughters and sons weddings because he is so full of energy. Thank you Chris for everything you were GREAT!!!!

If you want your DJ to create a classy feel for your wedding reception, Sarah from Birkett Entertainment is the perfect choice. After meeting with multiple, cheesy DJ’s, we felt defeated. Eventually we found Sarah, and we were sold immediately. The great thing about Sarah is that she will do whatever you ask of her. She will allow you to create the entire playlist, or she will do it for you. In addition, she will help you select songs for special dances, and I think she has just about every song recorded in her library. We decided to allow Sarah to make most of the decisions. We told her what songs we wanted for our special dances, what genres we liked, and what genres we didn’t like. She did most of the work, and our reception was perfect. She is excellent at creating a mood, and she kept the dance floor busy. At one point I even noticed her kindly asking some guests to come in from outside so they wouldn’t miss the cake cutting. She created a seamless flow for our wedding reception, and our guests were constantly entertained. She is very charming and many of our guests commented on how much they liked her. In addition, she worked very well with our caterer and photographer. She has a ton of experience in the wedding industry, so she knows what she is doing. I would highly recommend Sarah Birkett to DJ any wedding because I could not have been more pleased with what she did for us at our wedding reception.

The success of our incredible wedding on June 10th 2011 at Regency Garden was definitely a combination of several amazing people working together to create a perfect event...that being said, it's hard to imagine it happening without Chris Birkett and his spot-on choreography of entertainment and music. He really listened to us at our initial consultation and provided terrific recommendations. At the wedding, he set the tone for each portion of the event, from the understated background music during dinner to the rockin' hot fun time of the reception. He engaged the guests and left them wanting more. Us too. In a word, he was a blast. We would recommend him highly to anyone who wants thoughtfully specialized entertainment at their event.

Chris Birkett did a great job DJing our wedding. When we first met to go over music, it was so easy and relaxed. We had a few requests of what kind of music we wanted at the reception and what we didn't. On the wedding day, he did exactly as we asked. There was no surprised on music. He even taught the crowd a few dances. It was a blast. He did surprise us with a little question and answer game with a Ken and Barbie doll...and that was fun. When you book Chris Birkett, you are not just getting a dj, you are getting a true performer! Our reception was without a doubt the MOST interactive and fun party I have ever been to. He got everyone out on the dance floor and even incorporated some fun surprises that my husband and I didn't even know about. (Blues brothers performance by Chris and the groomsmen was the hit of the night!) The night flew by and everything was kept on track without any dragging on spots. Chris is so genuine, it's so apparent that he loves what he does. He made us comfortable from the first sit down planning meeting where we got a tour of his backyard (which is totally awesome but besides the point) and talked about Ghost Hunters and other interests so it felt more like a friend who was going to dj our wedding, not a faceless vendor who communicates only through email. Best part for me was I wanted the I Love Lucy theme song for the entrance music of my husband and I and Chris found it for me! We booked Chris through the vendor package at Regency Garden and it was the absolute best decision because truly, there is not a better dj out there! Oh, and my mom is still wondering how Chris did so many costume changes without anyone knowing... I say it's Birkett magic! lol. Thank you so much Chris, it was an amazing night and you are amazing at what you do!

Chris freakin' rocked the house! He played the perfect songs at the perfect moments and did his best to accomodate to my special requests as well as other guests. He even dressed up like several different characters and danced with the guests! Chris most definitely got the party started and kept it going all night! My wedding would not have been as awesome as it was if it wasn't for Chris! Thanks :)

Sarah was awesome. She totally handled our guests and our requests. We didn't realize how much went into the timeline of the wedding and the songs for each significant activity and Sarah was on top of them all and gave us wonderful suggestions.

Sarah was fantastic. We're not just saying that because she did her job and made the Wedding special or enjoyable. Those things are common and in my opinion don't deserve a 5 start rating. Sarah truly wanted to make our day special for us and enjoyable for our guests. She provided such a great service and went above and beyond. She even took one of our guests to the ER due to a Peanut Allergy, without being asked! How many DJs can you say would do that for you on your special day? That wasn't all because while one outstanding deed deserves to be noticed, it can also be said she completely honored our music selection wishes, handled our guests and keep things moving along the timeline, she also helped to keep us sane by offering solutions and not more questions, something that is very helpful when everyone keeps asking your questions.

We had a very nontraditional wedding reception. We had it the day after we got married at my sisters house and it was more of a party then a reception. When Kyle came to meet my husband and I he had no idea what he was getting himself into.. He was so flexible in planning the event and then the night of, because many things got changed from the way we had planned. His ability to roll with the night made it so easy for me and my husband to relax. He was wonderful. The only thing he could have improved on was turning the music down when I asked, because it was at a house and we knew the neighbors work schedules I wanted to be respectful of that and turn it down just a touch. Chris Birkett is probably the best DJ in Arizona, maybe in the entire southwest. He is constant energy and has the crowd involved all night! He took our wedding from really good to Unbelievable! First, he's already a great manager of the night - he keeps things flowing and was always letting us what was going on, what was coming up next. With about 20 minutes until our first dance was "scheduled" he came up and let us know that if we wanted to go mingle with the guests now would be the time.But what really makes him great is that he goes all out to get everyone involved in dancing and having fun. And we mean everyone, even if they normally wouldn't be out on the dance floor. That night, they were. He did skits with the bridal party, played games with bachelors and even dressed up. I've never seen a DJ with more energy. He was so good that two of the engaged couples at our wedding asked him for contact info on the spot because they wanted him at their wedding. One of them live in Texas and are thinking of flying him in for their wedding. He's that good!If you book Chris Birkett, you will not be disappointed and it will probably be the best wedding your guests have ever been too. You'll be having a blast all night! We got married on 4/2/11, let me tell you Chris Birkett is the best DJ. People have been saying they had so much fun and the DJ was awesome and I would agree. He has a great personality and knows how to keep the dance floor full. If I ever need a DJ I will call Chris. Thank you Chris for a awesome reception you are the best.
