I'm writing this review as the Mother of the Bride. I originally hired Gwen Waring to be the officiant at my daughter's wedding based upon a recommendation from our venue. I had intended on calling other officiants before making a final decision but after talking to Gwen on the phone, I felt so comfortable with her and I knew that my daughter would also that I decided not to interview anyone else. I booked her for both the rehearsal and ceremony. We talked and emailed a few times. I had a few concerns, mainly due to the large wedding party, but Gwen answered all my questions thoroughly. My daughter met with her and planned out the ceremony timeline and she also felt very comfortable with her too. Gwen is very thorough and organized. She was on time for both the rehearsal and ceremony. The rehearsal only took 30 minutes because she has a very well planned system that's very simple to understand. The ceremony incorporated everything that my daughter and son-in-law wanted. Gwen has a very calm demeanor, a beautiful voice and she uses just the right amount of humor to make everyone feel at ease, yet still maintain the appropriate decorum for my daughter's wedding. Afterwards, I had so many people come up to me and tell me how it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they've ever heard. I just wish Gwen had been there to hear all the compliments. In the end, finding just the right officiant is so important to setting the right tone for your ceremony and I'm so glad we decided on Gwen.

We had the honor of having Gwen Waring officiate our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and she was simply amazing! A couple months prior to the wedding, we met with her in her office to go over the details of the ceremony. In this meeting, she took copious notes about what we did and did not want said/done during the ceremony (i.e. guests should not be asked to stand when bride begins to walk, no asking "who gives this woman to this man," omitting of the word "obey," no genderizing of God, etc.). The ceremony began, and immediately I was at ease. Gwen left out the things we didn't want, and beautifully wove in the things we did. She has a very pleasant tone, a kind demeanor, and is just a very sweet person in general. She is also EXTREMELY ARTICULATE. I've been to other weddings, and the skill of the minister is so crucial to having a great ceremony. Having Gwen officiate our ceremony was probably the best choice we made in ALL of our pre-wedding arrangements & consultations. At the end of the day, the wedding is about the vows we take, not about the dress, the bridal party, or even the venue. If you want the most important aspect of your wedding to be beautifully done and tailored to your specific needs/desires/beliefs, the best thing you can do is make an appointment with Gwen Waring. She is nothing short of phenomenal!

Phil was awesome to work with. He was very flexible and humorous. He was willing to work with what we wanted and truly worked with us to create a ceremony that reflected us. We got several comments from the crowd on how personable and great he was during the ceremony. Thank you Phil!

Phillip provided us with memories....not just a marriage certificate. The ceremony was interactive. While we chose a non-religious ceremony....it truely felt like a spiritual experience. Excellant excellant job.

We booked Phil Waring through our venue (Stonebridge Manor) and could not be more pleased with his service. From the moment we met Phil we knew he would be amazing. He made us feel instantly comfortable during our consultation appointment and we ended up going over our appointment time because we were all enjoying the conversation so much. Phil was extremely flexible with appointment times, which helped us a lot because we both had busy work schedules while planning the wedding. He was able to customize the ceremony to how we wanted it, which was important to us. Our guests especially loved when after the candle & wine ceremony he turned us to face our guests and then pronounced us husband and wife. It really made it a special moment sharing our first kiss like that. I could go on and on about how incredible he is. I do also want to mention that his wife/office manager Gwen is exceptional. She was there for any questions I might have and even guided me through how to word my programs. She is an angel is disguise for sure!

Phil was the best officiant my husband and I could have asked for! He took our requests, explained the ceremony to us and made the whole experience enjoyable. During the ceremony Phil was serious, funny, and compassionate. My husband and I were so happy with him and we would reccommend him to any couple interested in getting married outside of a church! Thank you Phil for everything you do ;)

I highly recommend Phil! Very professional and did a beautiful ceremony. Helped put our nerves at ease day of wedding by making us giggle during the ceremony.

When we first met Phil Waring, I knew that he would fit in perfectly for our April fool’s wedding day. He has a great sense of humor and that is exactly what Mike and I were looking for in an officiant. Also, we loved the “tying of the cords” idea. This is a fresh approach to the unity candle or sand ceremony.

Phil Waring and his wife Gwen are incredible. If you are looking for a cookie cutter ceremony, Phil is not the minister for you. Phil gave our vows character, charisma and heart. Phil was there every step of the way for me from the programs to the rehearsal to most importantly, the ceremony. I cannot thank Phil and Gwen enough for making my wedding a day I will never forget.

It still amazes me how he does this all by memory! The ceremony was perfect, no glitches or misspeaking by Phillip. You can't go wrong picking him as your officiant.

Phillip Waring was absolutely wonderful! His ceremony was beautiful! He is a great speaker, and personalized the service to us. He is so fun-loving, funny and entertaining, and helped tremendously with keeping me, and the rest of the wedding party at ease the entire time. I highly recommend him!!

Phil Waring was our officiant at our wedding. He and his wife Gwen are awesome! Gwen was our primary contact and she was always quick to respond to emails, and was always so nice. Phil met with us twice which was great because we really wanted to discuss certain details in person. He drove all over town for our meetings (thanks!). They let us customize our ceremony to our exact wishes. Phil is hilarious and so very nice, but serious when it is time to be serious. Our ceremony was AMAZING because of Phil and he had nearly every person in tears. I cannot say enough wonderful things about AZ Ministers. We 100% recommend AZ Ministers for officiating services! They're fantastic!

Phillip was wonderful for our interfaith wedding. We were so lucky to find someone to willing to mix our traditions into one beautiful ceremony. Only downside (if you could call it a downside) is that he is a very very busy guy and has a bit of a restricted schedule. Overall, top notch! thank you!!!

He was so funny and professional at the same time. He made the ceremony exactly what we wanted. He was able to incorporate all the aspects that we asked for and in such a way that the ceremony flowed together so well. We had several great comments from our guests about him.
