Holly at Ariva Event Planning is an absolute pro. Her careful planning and experience made the wedding and pre-wedding go without a hitch, or, more accurately, the potential hitches were addressed before they had a chance to develop into a major problem. She communicated with all every step of the way, guiding and inspiriing everyone to adhere to the all important deadlines. She created a wedding day timeline that let everyone know exactly what to expect, when and where. The wedding participants were free to enjoy the occasion from the very beginning to the end.

Holly did a great job of organizing our wedding and keeping us on top of our to do list. She was very helpful with ideas, and had a great list of preferred vendors that also did fantastic jobs. Holly helped make the planning of our wedding a smooth and fun event. Definitely worth it, I strongly recommend!

Holly was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating of our difficult schedules when it came to meetings. She was very low pressure, not pushing us into decisions in any way and was great to give insight into things we should consider in making good decisions that were appropriate for us. She was great when asked for advice, however, again did not push for any one solution – just placed options before us and let us decide. Our event went off without a hitch (at least to our knowledge). We were able to relax and enjoy our special day and we have gotten many complements on what a wonderful evening it was and that others noticed that everything seemed to flow well. On top of everything else, she got us an amazing deal on our honeymoon, which nearly saved us the cost of hiring her to begin with. We had a great time and didn’t have to stress about the trip at all.

Holly provided wedding planning services for my daughter and new son-in-law who live in Tempe, AZ. I live in Las Vegas, NV. I can't imagine what a stressful experience this would've been putting together a "long distance" wedding without Holly's help. Yes, I was still involved but didn't have the worries of all the details that Holly's services provided. Instead, I found time to relax and enjoy friends, family, and the special moments that could've slipped away unnoticed. Holly was great. I wouldn't have had such a smooth wedding if it hadn't been for her help. I used her on an hourly basis for help throughout the planning process as I already had my vendors picked out with the resort that my wedding was at. We met early in the process and put together a list of priorities in order to help plan the budget. Holly did all of the work setting up my budget and making suggestions for where to spend the money and how much. She also sent me a monthly checklist of the things that needed to get done for the month. What a lifesaver! I would have never stayed on track if it hadn't been for those!! As it came closer to the wedding we met with Holly again and went into detail about the timeline for the day before and day of the wedding. Since I wasn't sure how much the resort would be helping us through these things, It was great! It included details down to when to make the toast and what things needed to be brought home by family members after we left for the honeymoon. It kept things running smoothly and I was thrilled with her services. She was always available for small questions and suggestions and never took more than a day to respond to e mails. I would highly recommend Holly and her company for any type of event planning.

I just cannot say enough about Ariva Event Planning! Our daughter�s wedding was a wonderful celebration and was absolutely perfect in every detail. I am convinced that it would not have been as memorable for us without the valuable assistance Ariva provided. Holly and her team worked tirelessly -from contacting the entire wedding party via e-mail or phone,to assure they knew their times and places, contacting every vendor to reconfirm their services, reviewing all our contracts, assuring that every table was set perfectly, bustling the bride�s gown, securing the wedding gifts at the reception- the list is endless! There were just so many details involved that it would have been impossible to truly enjoy that special day without some help. All aspects of the wedding flowed so well, and Holly stayed one step ahead of everyone to assure the timing was as the bride wished.Holly is a perfectionist and takes great pride in her work. She definitely made that day so easy for our daughter and for us! We had over 140 guests at our reception so and many commented on how beautiful and flawless the whole wedding and reception were.Initially we were not going to obtain a wedding coordinator, but soon realized all the components of the wedding day and contracted with Ariva for a �day of� services. But, I assure you that Holly worked well beyond one day! My daughter and I met with her numerous times, stayed in touch via e-mail and phone, and were 100% delighted with her services. Ariva is professional, prompt, thorough, tactful, flexible- honestly so worth the fee! I highly recommend this company to any bride, or her parents, to assure a perfect day that will flow seamlessly and help you really enjoy your celebration.

I hired Holly for my wedding this past November. I was the typical "clueless" bride...didn't know where to go to find anything! Holly was fantastic. She helped me locate vendors, did all the negotiating with the venue on my behalf -- including multiple changes to the menu after the chef left for a different restaurant (yikes!). Plus, she kept me organized.Every month she sent me a checklist containing items that my now-husband and I needed to take care of (and things that were on her to-do list too) as well as the status of each. If I didn't take care of something in any given month, she made sure it was on the top of the priority list for the next month. Emails were returned quickly and professionally. She also helped me with the decor. My venue provided simple candelabras for our sit-down buffet reception. They were nice, but a little boring. She hand-made crystal and beaded "necklackes" for the candles, as well as satin-ribbon lined wreathes to dress up the tables. A very elegant result.I, too, used Holly for day-of services. She did send out a VERY detailed timeline to all family and wedding party members a few days before the wedding. The timeline gave explicit instructions to everyone including groomsmen, officiants, vendors, etc., on what time to arrive, where to go to set up, etc. I got a little ribbing about it from the groomsmen, but they were a notoriously late group of guys and I didn't want that on my wedding day! And sure enough, they showed up where they were supposed to be, dressed and looking great. No one would have been in place without that timeline -- and I know I never would have been that organized on my own.Definitely would recommend Ariva Event Planning for a stress free wedding. Your planner should make sure you enjoy your day and aren't aware of all the "little" stuff that inevitably crops up. Holly did that for me too - our limo was supposed to pick us up at the reception at 4 p.m., and didn't arrive. I never even noticed he was late though, because Holly took care of it, allowing me to continue having fun with my guests.

I was fortunate enough to meet Holly at a bridal show and knew immediately what a huge help she would be to me. Prior to meeting and hiring her, my husband hadn't seen what we would need a wedding planner for. He very quickly came to realize the value of Holly. During the months prior to our wedding, Holly was very organized, always friendly and professional, and did a great job of keeping us on schedule for hiring other vendors. She also helped us find those vendors, and arranged discounts that basically ended up paying for Holly's services. Holly helped us plan our menu, gave me wonderful guidance for finding the perfect florist, and went over details that I never would have thought of on my own. She also had fun ideas and helped me come up with my "theme". I can't imagine how I would have done all the planning without her expertise.Holly did a great job at the rehearsal making sure the wedding party knew exactly what they needed to do. I felt comfortable that I would be able to arrive on the day of my wedding with nothing more to worry about than getting my wedding gown on. On the day of the wedding, Holly made sure the flowers came on time, the vendors were set up as planned, and the personal touches were in place well before any guests arrived. She made sure every vendor was paid, and during the reception, she jumped right in when there were tiny snafus (i.e. the caterer not having any coffee available when the cake was served).Best of all, Holly helped me to realize my dream of having Elvis at my wedding by finding me a great Elvis impersonator to "crash" the reception! My husband and I were truly able to enjoy our wedding and reception with our dear family and friends, because we knew that all was in Holly's dependable and capable hands.My husband and I sincerely recommend Holly and Ariva Event Planning to anyone for any event. I would hire her for any future events we have, and know what a success it would be!

Holly was wonderful and I don't know how we would have kept our sanity without her! She has a great deal of expertise, creative ideas and suggestions, and lots of industry contacts that made it easy to decide on other vendors. There was no detail overlooked at any point during our months of planning, and Holly was so organized that we always felt like we were "ahead of the game". It was such a relief to know she was working behind the scenes to coordinate with the florist, musicians, bakery, DJ, catering and venue staff, lighting and decorations, keeping the family and attendants updated, - the list could go on and on. When it comes to the amount of work she did, I know we only saw the tip of the iceberg. It was wonderful to know we were in such good hands, and we could just focus on enjoying one of the most important days of our lives.My wife and I feel a great deal of gratitude for all Holly did to make our wedding day (and all the days leading up to it) so easy for us. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone, anytime!

I quite honestly could not have planned my wedding without Holly from Ariva Event Planning. Before we hired Ariva, I was an absolute basketcase whenever anyone asked me for details on the big day. I was incredibly overwhelmed by all of the little decisions that need to be made, and was in desperate need of someone to help me focus my random "wants" into concrete, usable ideas. Enter Holly! Holly took the time to ask me every question imaginable about our wedding, and her questions were specific and easy to answer. She knew exactly how to get me to put my thoughts into words, even when I didn't. After our initial consulatation, I felt 100% relieved, and no longer stressed about our wedding. The best thing about Holly is that she really got to know my fiance and me, and made sure that our wedding was a reflection of our styles and personality, and not just some generic, cookie-cutter day. She figured out which of my requests were "must haves" and which things I was flexible on, and I gave her full reign over the flexible items to work her magic within our budget (which she totally did!). My favorite example of how she saved me has to do with my flowers. I am really, really bad at coordinating colors, and really could have cared less what all of my flowers looked like. I only knew that I wanted to carry red roses, and that my bridesmaids were wearing red. Holly asked what other colors I wanted to use to go with red, and I said "I have no idea." She threw out a few options and I just shook my head shrugged. I can imagine some coordinators being frustrated by my attitude, but Holly just took charge and told me not to worry about it. She got in touch with my florist and never bothered me about flowers again (thank goodness, because I hate that kind of stuff!). The flowers at my wedding were absolutely beautiful, and seemed even prettier to me because they had just magically appeared (or that's what it felt like anyway). My whole family loved working with Holly, and would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for some help with their wedding. We hired Holly a few months before the wedding, but I wish we had hired her immediately, because she would have saved us money in the long run! She has been in this business long enough to know all of the right contacts and places to work with, and if there is something that you come up with that she hasn't done before, she'll be sure to do her research and get you set up and taken care of. Use Ariva Event Planning for your wedding and just sit back and enjoy the biggest day of your life!

From the first day we met Holly with Ariva Event Planning, we knew we were working with the right person! Immediately she put our minds at ease and helped lay out a clear and organized approach to planning our wedding. Since most of our family and friends live out of state, we needed the help. Holly got us in touch with an officiant that worked with us to create a meaningful ceremony, and her recommendation for a DJ was perfect. Our friends and family still tell us that we had the most fun wedding they had ever attended. Holly was great about reminding us that this was OUR special day and she worked in partnership with us to create OUR perfect wedding! In addition, Holly coordinated our honeymoon including international airfare and cruise traveling, and had great recommendations for excursions to take. We highly recommend her services!

I hired Holly for my wedding. She talked a big game, but when it actually came down to it she was worthless. Before the wedding she sent our an e-mail to the wedding party and was not very nice in it. On the day of the wedding she had directed people to ask me questions, she did absoloutly nothing during the reception. I saw her a total of three times before the reception and once during, when she told me she was leaving. If you are looking for a reliable planner please look elsewhere. Although her prices were cheap, it was not worth it. I guess you get what you pay for. But I PLEAD with you, DO NOT book this vendor!!!
